Classes

Specials:

All classes are on special this year for $100 (U.S. dollars). Classes are usually $125. **We also provide all ammo and guns for you to practice and qualify with--you are not required to bring your own or pay extra to use ours.

We do recommend that if you will be carrying/concealing a firearm that you are not very familiar with, bring it to practice and qualify with. HANDGUNS ONLY! Our instructor will be more than happy to make sure that you are comfortable using this weapon. If you do bring your own firearm(s), bring your own ammo as well.

Classes are usually held on Saturdays and/or Sundays but occasionally we offer classes during the week. By law, 8 hours of class time is required to obtain your CCW. This does not include range time.

All Missouri CCW classes are held on Saturday

All Kansas CCH classes are held on Sunday

Class starts at 8:00am - 6:00pm

Every qualified student receives a "Certificate of Completion" that indicates that the student has completed the state required 8 hours class time and firearm range qualification. The certificate and state form issued by Kansas City CCW along with the County Sheriff or State fee (fee's vary) for finger printing and background check at your County Sheriff's Office will result in a Sheriff/State issued CCW/CCH endorsement certificate as long as the background check is clean. (MO) Within 7 days of Sheriff approval, students must purchase an ID card from the MO Drivers Lic Bureau ($11) and have the CCW endorsement applied to it. ALWAYS CARRY THIS WITH YOU! Kansas residents will have a slightly different procedure for applying that will be explained in class.

We will provide all class materials, hearing and eye protection, guns and ammo for you. If you wish to qualify with your own firearm(s), please bring 50 rounds of ammo for practice and an additional 20 rounds to qualify. State Law requires that you fire 25 rounds with a semiautomatic and 25 rounds with a revolver before you are tested with 20 rounds from the pistol of your choice. Please leave guns in your vehicle until range qualification begins. Some refreshments will be provided--You will need to bring your own lunch or money to buy lunch.

What to bring to class:

Government issued photo I.D.
Payment for class.
If you wish to qualify with your own guns, bring at least 70 rounds of ammo for them. Leave all weapons and ammo in your vehicle until range qualifications begins.
Money for lunch or a sack lunch.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
